Get Lost in Rovinj

August 19, 2017

Life was pretty intensive last couple of weeks (or months?), but in a good way. Interesting projects and opportunities appeared and I feel both excited and little scared too, how things would go. Sometimes I can’t stop my mind from thinking about all the ideas and details even when I’m sleeping. My man is in quite a similar situation, so a week of holiday was pretty necessary for both of us.

My good friend told us about a super charming town in Croatia, Rovinj, which is only few hours driving away, though we have never visited before. And, ohhh, what a beauty!! We came with no other plan, but just have a fantastic time. It was a bit risky to have no room reserved, but after ten minutes searching in the area we liked the most, we found a perfect apartment with terrace and the sea view. It seemed like it was waiting just for us.

Colorful

We finally could forget everything and focused just on appreciating the smell of sea, swimming, eating the sea food and mind relaxing walks through those incredible streets. Details are everything for me, so I didn’t know where to look first. Every window, doors, handles on the doors or flower looked like from the impressionist painting. Colorful houses are all in a specific effortless harmony.

Of course, blogger and her boyfriend couldn’t ask for more than such a movie like scene.  I hoped we would have got lost and walking there forever, not really trying to find the way out.

We shot several outfits in the different corners of the romantic Rovinj and I will share them with you in the coming weeks. I hope you enjoyed this first part of our Croatian discovering and will stay tuned for the coming posts.

Looks like a picturesque quaint little town, the coloured windows and cobble stone paths are fantastic. I like your outfit too, the cropped top and stripes pants just matched so well with the surroundings.

Hi Daniela, we visited Dubrovnik in 2013 and that’s about all I know about Croatia. This spot you found is a gem. Beautiful photos and your outfit as always is on point 🙂

Thank you David! I’ve been in Croatia four times in different places, but I haven’t visited Dubrovnik yet, even though it’s the most famous place in Croatia. It’s a really beautiful country. 🙂

You’re brave for arriving without a room booked beforehand – but what an exciting concept, and great that you found a place in just 10 minutes! You look SO stylish; i adore those striped trousers!

      Thank you Gabrielle! 🙂
I’m not sure, if I’m brave or irresponsible, but I can’t help myself, I love to travel this way. The best is, that I can decide, where I like it the most and stay there (if we are lucky enough :))
      Have a great day!
