One day, I will stay, with my favorite person, at a bright, stylishly furnished place with a view to the Mediterranean Sea. I simply belong there naturally and by my genetics, too. I will drive through serpentines with Mini Cooper Cabrio or something having a similar charm.

On my plate, there will only be pasta, vegetables, fresh seafood and fishes bought at the local market. I will neither be having to worry about the lack of light for my photo shootings again, nor about the lack of motivation to spend time outside home during winters. Weekends will be reserved for exploring some breathtaking nooks, either on horse’s back or by the boat. I see it all very clearly.

Almost Mediterranean Life

But let’s take first things first. By now, I have been focusing in my life more to achieving my other dreams for where I want to live. My Mediterranean dream may not seem to be happening tomorrow yet, but I’m pretty sure it will become true, sooner or later. And… you know what they say, fake it till you make it. Although I’m not the biggest fan of this theory, I kind of do fake Mediterranean life.

I chose to live in the apartment building inspired by Gaudí with a relaxed atmosphere. From the first warm days, we serve our typically Mediterranean breakfast at the terrace with cool hammock chair, and the seafood spaghetti for dinner. I even ride a horse on Saturday morning at a pretty farm. If only cold winters didn’t last so long and blue was more often present in my views, framed with palms…However, I never miss the opportunity to go to the nearest places with a coastal atmosphere near our home.

Just Go

Whether it’s a stunning Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum situated at the river peninsula, or lake Neusiedler See only about 40 minutes from Vienna or Bratislava. These places affect me the similar way like the sea and help me to let off steam. So, as soon as the carousel of work and meetings finish, we turn our business outfits to the beach look and hit the road.

The latest cooperation with the Mini importer approached me to my dream even more. Mini Cooper is exactly the kind of car, for people who know how to enjoy la dolce vita. It’s almost a necessity to wear something stylish, when driving this handsome car with a character, my dream car for years. Every twist and outlook have a movie like feeling, till we reach our destination.

And here I’m, watching boats and yachts, smiling at the seagulls, blue waves, palms and drinking white wine. Next time we will rent a boat too. It would already be warm enough to swim in the lake. In this moment I’m wondering, if the real Mediterranean life could be even more delightful than this one. But I assume, yes. Because nothing compares to the scent of the sea and jasmine.
